EXCITING ANNOUNCEMENT: Truly Mixed Media!

SUPER EXCITING NEWS!!!
Yes, this was mentioned in yesterday's post, but we just feel the need to shout it out...
Dreamweaver Stencils
 has been purchased by
STAMPENDOUS!
Those of you that have followed us know that we've done some fabulous collaborations with Stampendous over the past few years. Both product lines are amazing together, so it should be no great surprise that this would be the next obvious step. All of us at Dreamweaver are thrilled to have access to all those yummy Stampendous images and accessories, and all of those, including Stampendous Owner Fran Seiford herself, at Stampendous are thrilled to play with Dreamweaver's stencils, embossing pastes, dies, etc. It's a match made in crafter's heaven!
Looking forward to continuing this blog over the next few months...Yours truly, Lynell Harlow!
*More details below post

Our monthly challenge for January is Birthday Wishes. We'd love for you to play along with us, and link your creations to the Inlinkz tool at the bottom of this post, or on the Dream It Up! blog, for a chance to win the stencil of your choice...and remember, using Dreamweaver products gets you bonus points towards an extra stencil!

Pam here with our wish for this week:
I thought this card would be appropriate as it is a great mix of both companies products, and the sentiment says it all! The background was paste-embossed in Regular Dreamweaver Paste using the Dreamweaver Splats stencil, and many of the wonderful hot colors of Stampendous Color Fragments were sprinkled on top. The background of the sentiment panel was done in the same fashion, and both were set aside to dry. The Stampendous Cling Life is Art sentiment was stamped and embossed in black on acetate (use an anti-static medium on both sides of acetate beforehand), and attached with a colorful paperclip. All panels, and a paint brush were adhered to a bright orange card base.
Those of you who may be new to Dreamweaver products may want to check out previous posts on this blog, as well as the team's links listed on the sidebar. We have always been a technique-driven company, and this will continue on as Stampendous has the same mindset. We've done many tutorials in the past which can be found on the Paper Craft Planet blog, and there will be many more to be found here, on the Stampendous! blog, YouTube, Pinterest, and Facebook!
So, follow along as we begin this new creative path! We'd love for you to join us!
Of course, more inspirations are coming your way from our "B" team:

*There will be a two month transition as the two companies come under the Stampendous name. Purchasing of Dreamweaver products will continue for now as before...through our wonderful stores, as well as the Stencil with Style site.

(Thank you Pam, for the colorful post with products from both Stampendous and Dreamweaver... Lynell here-signing off until next week, please leave a comment for my dream team and then be sure to join the challenge....)
