Zensdays with Lynell and Wayne #12

Today the challenge on the diva's site is to tangle a moebius strip. Laura Harms has issued this challenge to support awareness of Moebius Syndrome...Friday Jan. 24 is the day to support these families everywhere. Her son Artoo was born with this and is the most charming, bright and sunshiny child. No, I've never met him or Laura, but Laura is a wonderful blogger and has shared with us his story through the years, and you can see the wonderful sparkle in this child. It is a rare syndrome only 1-2/1,000,000...WOW Artoo you are rare! Click HERE to learn more from Laura about how people's lives are affected and how you can be supportive.

MOEBIUS SYNDROME IN THE SPOTLITE THIS WEEK
Here is my creation and please feel free to join us this week if you are inspired. I used the tangle shattuck and at the base used the tangle spotlite. It seemed appropriate. Purple is the color for the syndrome, if you want to add it to your creations. To know more about the tangles you can go to www.tanglepatterns.com

Here is another moebius creation by Wayne. He did it using the tangle pattern called Akoya....very beautiful beaded looking creation. If you get the chance be sure to go to the diva's site and see some of the other work that people linked....some people did fun things to show you how to draw the skeleton for the work and Heidi Sue showed how to create a moebius strip with tape and a piece of paper click HERE to see that. We're hoping to raise awareness for Moebius Syndrome.

I am also posting another one of our new stencil designs (the fairy LG762) that we presented at CHA. Wayne tangled this one and as per usual did a lovely job.

Wayne also posted another Moebius creation for Moebius Syndrome Awareness day on his Flickr site, so click HERE to see and comment.

Be sure to leave a comment if you have time and come back tomorrow to see what the design team has been stenciling this week.

A really beautiful tile. I particularly like how you handled the background and literally shone a spotlight on MSAD to raise awareness.

I'm definitely seeing new tangles in the Diva challenge responses this week. I've seen Shattuck before, but have never used it. Spotlight is completely new to me and perfect for this challenge. Nicely done---as usual---and the stencil is charming.

Great idea to have the Footlights illuminating the Moebius logo. Wayne's Akoya is really great. I have still not tried that tangle. It is a little intimidating. Maybe it will be a UMT challenge and then I will really be stuck.

Your Moebius tile is beautiful. The Shattuck Moebius strip and Spotlight are just perfect - stunning. Wayne's Moebius tiles are both amazing. Your new Fairy stencil is lovely. Looking forward to your next post.

The spotlight on the moebius strip is perfect for this tile. Your Shattuck tangle is so evenly done...it's gorgeous too. But most of all I really think I like the way that you shaded and presented it...simple and to the point!

Lynell, I just love yours and Waynes, Moebius tiles!! Wow, they are beautiful!!
Thank you so much for such supportive words on my last week's post!! Sometimes I find that I just vent and air my thoughts on my blog, not realizing that people will actually take the time to read them. Anyway, it was so heartwarming how many of my new internet friends have taken the time to read and show their compassion!! Thank you!!!
I did get your email address and would just LOVE to get together and form a little group locally to tangle together!! I will, definitely be emailing you!! ;0)
See you in the new week!
(((hugs))) Annette
